I moved out to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. I came out here to volunteer but then my "domestic Partner" decided he wanted something different after 11 years. I went home, sold my house and just about everything I had and took off back to NO. I now live on the Northshore of the lake (about 30 minutes N of NO). I know where Mist and of course Vernonia. I was an avid sportsman when I lived there. You can't help but be with all that beautiful terraine. I miss it sometimes. I am always proud to say I Hail from the Great State of Oregon

Yes we are in Oregon. We live 12 miles NW of Vernonia more like in Mist really, but Vernonia is more easily known. That is Haystack Rock in the background of our wedding photo, and the Scout does have a CL plate, you are so right! You so do get a prize!

I was talking to my mom yesterday. She lives near Woodburn. She said it was gorgeous there. My husband has been to Oregon 2x with me and he loves it. He would move to Bend (around there) if it was his choice. I'm a valley girl so I would move to Portland or Salem area. Saw your new pics today..looking good!

Well......I was in a long term relationship (11+ yrs) and Christmas 05' he told me it was over. He had sort of done that before when things got ruff & I always stuck around but this time I was taking his out and running. He was not a good person. I moved where I knew no one, changed my number and sort of changed my life. Hun, that was the 1st smartest thing I had ever done. I met a wonderful man and now have a beautiful daughter. My life is completely different. If the ex could only see me now.....He told me no one would ever love me. Oops!

Hello, I was looking over the groups and noticed the Oregon Duck Waders. I grew up in Oregon but moved to SE Louisiana then end of 2005. I miss Oregon so much. It's a beautiful state with lots to do. Your a lucky lady to still live there!
