Hello Dear! Thanks for noticing our 8 lil pounds...lol...you're so sweet. The weather held out for us last night AND tonight (our second night at Pride). We met another couple down there and one of my friends came from out of town, so it was a good time. Oh and I got an awesome pic with a gay man sporting boobs! lol

Hey Mike. Congratulations on the new job. I have not been online for several days, so I just saw your post. Boy, you and Liz both with new jobs, new outlooks, new bodies......good stuff. Hope you had a good visit to NC and got to see friends and family.

I'm going to post my six month update, but short news is all is ok and i'm down 128 lbs, only 7 pounds to goal. Dr. said he underestimated my loss and I'll probably wind up about 20 pounds below his original goal. More good stuff.... Last news item is that Wedding Officiant business has gone CRAZY. I've booked almost 40 weddings in only 3 months. It has been very enjoyable and the extra money is nice.

Good to hear from you and I have to send Whit a pm as I'm going up to Norfolk week after next. Tell Liz hi and give Lilly a kiss for me. Keep the faith ....

Greetings Mike,
All is well here in Italy. Summer definately is in full swing as during the days it has gone below 90 any day. The beach is nice, as the Sea is at a comfortable temperature for swimming and getting in and just cooling down. Being home now almost 4 weeks from the US, I have stopped feeling homesick. Busy making resumes for employment. Now that I have my official VISA it gives me the opportunity to seek employment legally here. There is a US military base in Pisa that I have put a few resumes in for a variety of positions and also a school is considering hiring me for teaching English conversation to adults who are taking tests for various companies that require English. This upcoming weekend Bernardo and I are taking the train from Carrara and going into the Cinque Terre for the day on Saturday to enjoy the beach, sea and villages along the cliffs of the Meditteranean. should be a fun day trip. Also working on getting the cultural travel assistance website put together and planning some tours for some Americans who will be visiting in September.
I am happy to be maintaining my weight at my set goal, it was up slightly after vacation and tasting the American tastes, but came right back off once returning home and that is incredible for me, as I would have in the past continued to go up up up and beyond.
For my birthday in August we are taking a road trip to see friends in the South of France, Provensa regione and staying with them 4 days and then onto Sitges, Spain for 5 nights and taking in Barcellona on a couple of those days to see the sites there as well. I noticed we are just eight days apart on our B-days, mine being the 13th. My wish list this year is for an Italian summer suit for the December cruise, so I will have something to wear at the captains formal dinner night.

Thanks again for writing, lately I haven't been posting much on the forum as I dont know what to say.
Happy July 4th, I will miss seeing fireworks this night.

Hey Mike,
Anytime you want to get together let me know. I was in the US not that long ago (maybe a few weeks ago) to get a bracelet fixed at Walden Galleria but I think it may have been when you mentioned you were going to be away in SC and Michigan. I think that was the last time I was there and I'll be going to NYC for my 1 year check up in August. I got the news on the ankle that I can start weening myself off the air cast and the doctor is recommending physiotherapy. How's life with you?

You are looking fabulous! You're melting away, my friend. I saw some of your Carolina pictures and you, Lily and Liz all look like you had a great time. I wish I was adept with a digital camera and downloading as you are, I have to get my head wrapped around that and make the time so I can finally update some pics.
