Hi Trisha. Sorry for the late response, but Ive bee traveling. This trip, Ive been to India, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and tonight, Im answering you from Dubai. I picked VSG because of the extensive travel I do and the low complication rate. Have you read Aviator's Log book? It takes a couple of hours to get thru it but it may be worth it for you to see my journey. And feel free to post something there!

Hi there, I am in the UK also i live on the welsh/shropshire border, i saw the surgeon on tuesday last week and he has agreed to give me the sleeve i am expecting it to be towards the end of the year, but i just can't wait.
Great that i have joined this forum and hoping to get lot's of help and advice as well as hearing others who have had the surgery, it will be great to see how you go as you will be having surgery next month i will be with you every step of the way. Trisha

Hi there, I'm pre-op, hoping to have my surgery next month. I too will be having the vertical sleeve, are not as many VS on this forum, but the most informative I've found in Aviator, he has surely been an inspiration. Check out his log book.
Where are you based, I'm in the UK. Welcome to this forum, I've found it fantastic - it has helped me sooo much. Good luck with the journey you're about embark on.
