Doing much better...keeping busy with house projects.
Both Patrick and Laurie will operating....guess she's up to it.
Thats good that you're losing weight. Keep it up....hit the gym too,it's not too late... i've got a feeling i'm going to be very glad i did.
I'm just doing a MAJOR spring cleaning this weekend, and I planned on doing that sorta thing anyway prior to surgery, so it works out for the best...the house was a hole, and needed the work.

How are you doing today? Better I hope.

I spoke to Rene yesterday and she said that there isn't a problem with my BMI being below the 40 pre-requisite now because I am already scheduled for surgery. Whew! I don't want to get up to surgery date and have them tell me I'm too thin. Too thin has never been a problem of mine. I also told her again that if anyone cancels, I'm ready to fill in for them.

Who is doing your surgery? I didn't think Dr. Spaulding was going to be doing anything except clinicals until mid May.

Chill Baby, Chill!!! I know how you are feeling. I keep thinking about it and hoping I'm making the right decision. I know I am! I can't keep going like I am and neither can you. A new, healthier life is just around the corner. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sure you will do fine.

OMG....i'm sitting here crying and flipping out. i'm SO scared. having a major panick attack. I thought i was so cool about all this....not so much now. The rubber is about to hit the road.

Well, gheez, I wished they had called me too. I really can't wait to start my journey. I'm really ready for this. Hope all goes really well for you. I'm sure it will. I have to call Rene tomorrow and ask if it will be an issue if I lose more weight and my BMI falls below 40 before the surgery. I don't want them to disqualify me because I lose too much before.

I really hope they call and move my date up.

So...apparently they had 3 people that they had to postpone for various reasons, and it all happened on tuesday. Since the room was booked anyway....they filled it..with me
Did pre-op today, no biggie...next stop is walking in the door wednesday morning.

Nope...I have no idea why they moved me up, but i'm not complaining. Perhaps I'll know more tomorrow when i go in for all the pre-op crap.

I called Rene and told her that I would take anything earlier if they came up with something. She said she would keep that in mind. In other words, don't plan on it. But, I can still hope.

What???? How come they are putting you in so soon??? I told them I wanted to get in earlier but they said unless I had an open bypass they couldn't get me in until June. What's up with that. Did they give you a reason why they moved you up?

Got a call from them today.....I'm having surgery next week!!!!!!! (April 9th) Holy freakin' cow!!!!!! They told me to immediately stop eating food....and i'll go in on thursday for pre-op.
I'm flipping out with excitement.
