After 2 years and 7 months post-op I am at a normal weight, I'm finally at my goal weight.
It's really amazing to me that *I* did it...this surgery really did work and helped me get to this point and I am so grateful for it. For all the bad stuff people have to say or think about it...they have no idea how much it means to a person like me who used to be MO with no hope.
Wow. I'm still thinking how crazy this has been...life really does change after wls.

Some of you lovely ladies have commented on my arms and how they look. However, I *do* have flabby arms...although I do admit my arms are the least problematic part of my body. I can live with my set of "batwings" because I feel like although they do flap when I lift my arm, they're not that BAD. Tell me whatcha think?

...well not really a secret but...I weigh myself EVERYDAY...sometimes 3 times a day!
So this is what I figured out...pre-op I never, I mean NEVER, got on the scale. Why? Because I was afraid...afraid the scale wouldn't read my weight because I was over the limit...afraid to see that 300+ number...afraid of being aware of reality.
Since I never checked my weight before...it was like the problem was not there
.
Now, I fell like I must weigh...

Today, I got a message from a gb friend and she writes: "you are so gorgous....ever feel like your fat again?? ugh i do
"
My response was...I have never stopped feeling fat! I know this topic has been discussed many times on the forum and it has been establish that "it takes a while for the brain to catch up" and that "we didn't have surgery on our brains", etc.
So yea, I feel bad reading that type of comment from other gb friends and...

Hey guys,
I'm so tired right now. My thighs & legs are throbbing. I ran & walked 4 miles...I mostly ran or maybe half & half? Well I did it anyway.
I've seen the scale move for the first time in a long time...153.6!! What? It's a trickery I know as soon as I drink water or eat it'll go back up.
I went to get retested for my vision today and like I said my vision is not good uncorrected. I think I'm "legally" blind, 20/200....
