I went for my psych eval today. The psych had not heard back from the VA where I hope to have this surgery, so she didn't know what test to give to me. She asked some questions and took notes. I am good to go (as far as a psych eval) if I go outside of the VA. I am supposed to call the psych back next week and hopefully then she would have heard back from where I want this done. If they will do it then I have to go back for the rest of the psych eval (an hour long test on the computer).

Hey! I was in fabulous Las Vegas! I was supposed to go for 5 nights, but extended it to 9! I'm back now...with a lot less money. But, hit wonderland when I got back! woohoo!

Don't have a date yet. My initial consult with the surgeon is on Aug 27th. and doing my 3 month consultation with my dr. now. so i'm hoping ASAP! I have struggled with my weight for as long as I remember, always being the fat girl of the group. I have thinking about doing this for over 2yrs now but I psych myself up and say I can do it without surgery and then 3 months later I gain more than what i lost. So I need this to HELP.

Just wanted to stop by and say hello and that you are gonna be my role model. I wanna look as great as you do. You look AWESOME! So does your husband. I'm addicted to this site.....

Ya I have a date of Aug. 12th and my pre op is Aug 11th.. Eeeek 2 wks away... I'm very excited and scared I just hope everything goes good with the surgery.. Oooh and Lol i'm not doing very well on getting around on the site.. as far as posting messages and stuff but i'm trying. I think I just need to play around with it more so I can send cute pics and do my profile all cute like you and everyone else.. =o)

Yo Lisa, I honked last week when I drove by on the way to Mexico, did you hear me!!! It was only 114 degrees in Cochella...nice!!

Everyone i sent your pics to were really impressed. I'm still working through the process, but in terms of my decision, I'm there 100%. I really think it will all happen in September. I've never subscribed to the "keep calling until you get what you want" methond for jobs, etc., but I think in this case, I'm gonna do it :-). Hope you had a great weekend.

Hi Eli!
I am doing well, thanks. I am doing good in getting in my protein and drinking alot of fluids about 50-60 oz. or more. I wasn't in too much pain either didn't fill prescription for pain med from doc. I am so far tolerating everything that is on my list of things I can eat. Had mashed potatoes today and they were gooooooood.

So looks like things are good and I hope that they continue to get better and better each day.
