Julie - Out of curiosity, did you consider the gastric sleeve? I'm 5/7 300 pounds and torn between the bypass and the sleeve. My internist told me that the bypass can cause bowel problems for life, my surgeon however recommends it. Meanwhile I've done research on the sleeve, and it appears to be a happy medium. Any thouhts?
