Oh my gosh, I'm a loser. Finally got my Sleeve. My surgery was a success so i'm told, surgery took an hour and half. I was the first one down in the morning. In the afternoon, I was talking and joking with my family, although I don't recall, they claim I was dropping off to sleep. lol. Pain, was bearable, we do expect pain don't we. You get pain relief as and when you want it. I came home today (Saturday). No liquids for 3 days, that was not bad either. The last thing I ate was Monday night around 11.30pm, a Granny Smith and some grapes. I've not felt hungry since. WOW, even that amazes me.

    Hi darl,

Sorry not been around.. the weather has been the main reason for keeping me away as my pc is at my mum's and she lives in the back of beyond meaning that when it snows it is impossible to get to hers and therefore I cant log on.

I am here safe and well thanks. How's u?

No not had surgery yet, not even heard from them yet as to a date.. yea I figured that the delay is due to xmas emergencies, sod's law, what can you do eh?!
I'm due to start my new job on monday so I hope they understand that although I told them about op I have not yet had it so therefore they'll need to allow me time off when the date does come up. Its working with nurses so they should understand.

    Hope you're ok x

Hi, I've been looking around and can't see you anywhere. What's up sis. Did you have your surgery on 28th Dec? Spoke to AJ recently and he says that a number of the surgeries for Dec. were postponed due to emergencies at the hospitals and their beds been taken. Where you at? Hope you're good though. If you've had your surgery do let me know. Take care.
