Well, a week has passed since I posted last. Been a long week. Had to take my 10 year old daughter into the hospital in the middle of the night on the 24th for emergenc surgery. We are home now- but it was really hard to eat what I was suppose to when I didn't leave her hospital room for 3 days.... I attempted to call my doctor today to make sure everything is still a go for the 17th. I was not able to get through. I will call again on Monday... 18 days to go. I am sooooo excited

My journey is just beginning- I went to the seminar in August, found out my insurance won't cover it in September and made the decision to self pay in October. I am scheduled for surgery November 17th. I have done all of my labs, upper GI, chest X Ray, etc... Everything looks good- iron is low so I have to get that up before surgery. I am very excited but a little concerned about the protein shakes can anyone give me some advice as to the best tasting shakes- I have never liked shakes, malts, smoothies-...
