I'm sorry we didnt get a chance to meet this summer. Next summer we will have to do some walking or hiking. Rimrock and Jakes are a favorite of mine....
and then maybe lunch.
The pych evaluation wasn't bad. I was expect multiple tests with trick questions to trip me up on weight related topics. The dr. was very nice and we basically chatted about my weight history. What was my highest/lowest adult weights, my siblings weight and my attempts at weight loss. Also, the support system I had in place and what my expectations were in the surgery. make sure you don't say that you want to be a super model and live happily ever after. They want to hear from you that this surgery is a tool to help you get your eating under control to be healthier. They are also looking to see if you have any other mental disorders that may hamper you from making the changes necessary. For me, it felt like i was chatting with a girlfriend. Well, I would never divulge to my friends my gory weight gain story. Good luck, you'll be fine.
Hi Debbie. Welcome to TT. I saw your post under the WNY group. I am in the Rochester area (Webster). There are a lot of good people on this board. I've already made lots of friends. Let me know how things go with your surgery.
Hi Deba Lee! I was just at Chautauqua yesterday. My father, younger brother and I took an adventure along the Wine Trail and then had dinner in Beamus Point(sp?) and enjoyed walking around a bit before the rain hit. Last night in Warren the rain was crazy! We eventually decided to go to the movies. I am hoping the weather warms soon and clears up.
