Thanks for the request! Glad to see you are doing well on your diet. I hope to have as much discipline, lol. I'm practicing and it's not too hard now, but, when I absolutely have to do it, may be another story, lol. Mardi Gras is a mess, lol. Kids love the parades though. They love to catch the beads and so does their daddy, lol!

I have lost 39 pounds so far.. and I am getting my first fill this week- I think Thursday- so i hope for it to kick up the loosing pass again- I have slowed down a bit the past week but I dropped 3 pounds yesterday- so I think it is picking up I know I need more restriction. And my doctor will probably clear me for more exercise and weight training so that should help too- honesty I need to get out and walk more---its just soo darn cold - So I think you said he would be back in spring / summer I would guess you would be down at least 50 pounds by then...good luck

I'm certain your surgeon will advise you as to the best procedue for your situation. The numbers I looked at showed the complication rate as being the same for VSG or Lap-Band. And in terms of recovery, I spent one night in the hospital, was off pain meds in 2 days, and back at work on day 6. Could have worked on Day five, but it was a Monday and I had to have "clearance" from the surgeon to work. This has been a piece of cake really, and I'm lots older than you.
Hey, but you'll be on the Loser's bench before long. Have they set a date yet?
