The benefits are huge - heart, joints, eyes, not to mention that it's critical in the structure of cell membranes etc.
I was told that for us, 2g a day was a tolerable amount.
Absorption? As with any vitamin/supplement we take, there's no clear evidence on how much we absorb of anything. I've seen numbers anywhere between 25 and 50%.
Good boy on the demon scales. They're actually worse than a wife you can't afford!
Corrine, your better than a wife I cant afford, excellent research on the Omega 3 stuff...thanks a bunch. I bought the packets, and a bottle of the liquid, the numbers on that for the EPA and DHA are huge, I wonder about the absobsion issues with that much at one time?
Thanks
PS. Ive also got the scale complex (for lack of better words). Its more fun to stay on track and assume you are losing weight!!
Couldn't avoid the scale - I had a visit with the NUT and she wouldn't let me get away with not being weighed.
Including the day of surgery, I have only been on the scales a grand total of 10 times and I wish I had avoided it this time too. I am just 3.2lb away from being "normal". That sucked... pfffffffft!
No new pics as yet but I will find someone who can take a decent shot - my DH is terrible.
I forgot to tell you, after chatting with you one night about the Ft. Lewis are, that my son absolutely loves it there. He's only been there two weeks and when he calls, he's always so excited. He's a sushi fanatic and he thinks he's found heaven.
Corrine,
Thank you so much for the gift. I cannot wait to rub it on my body. (hehehe) Sandy and I were both very excited to see the box on our desk when we got back from traveling. It was so kind of you. again, thanks so much. Hope your day is great!
Checking in on you since I've been away for some time and then noticed your reply to my original post on your page unfortunately it never reached me - it is only showing on your page
