Mine was fine. I am sick of pureed food already but things went well. I'm having some.... shall we say... bowel issues. waiting for the doc to call me back. I lost 14 lbs in the first week, how about you?

Yes! I'm so excited too! Are you having to do anything special beforehand. Like I said, I supposed to lose another 10 pounds before Nov 2. Hopefully, he won't postpone me on the day of if I don't. I have gotten 23 pounds of the 30 off. At 2pm on Sunday, I'm supposed to start drinking Magnesium Citrate. And I have already gotten prescriptions filled for pain and nausea. Are you having gastric bypass? I understand I'll be in the hospital for about 24 hours.

just wondering how you doing...well by looking at laura post your operation is this nov. 2nd....youre going to do great...dont worry, its the best thing that can happen. i would do it over again if i had too. let me know how you doing ok and be prepared for the new you to come, your going to love it...because im loving it every day i wake up now.

I saw your surgery is scheduled for November 2nd. So is mine.
My doctor says I have to lose 30 pounds before the surgery - I had to lose 20 before they'd give me a surgery date. Lost the 20 as of last Monday; then I was out-of-town on business and gained 4 back. I'm working extra hard to get off these last 14 before November 2.

hi missy!! well my journey has been to good to be true...after my operation i thought i was going to start feeling sick and weak and to my surprise i am riding the bull without no problems. I hope yours is the same, so when is the big day?
Trust me after the weight goes off you will be smiling even more i know i am now...and its a good feeling. keep in touch hugs and kisses lis
