As of right now I don't have a pre-op diet. I am trying myself to stay away from sweets, which I really have no problem doing. I am also working on chewing up my foods. My first surgeon apointment is in less than 2 weeks. I had my mental evaluation (part 1 of 3) yesterday and it went great. I am so exciteD!!

Congrats on being under 300! I am new to this site and would love to talk to people around my age that have went through WLS. I am set to have surgery the end of July 2010. I would love to keep up with your progress! How is recovery going? Are you dumping?

Hi Bridgett, just wondering how you're doing? I saw you post that you're under 300? That's so great! So glad to hear you've recovered nicely and I hope you're continuing to do well. I'm just counting down to my surgery (9+ weeks) and wishing it were tomorrow!

Well as from the title you would assume that I have lost 50lbs right? Well that is right. I have lost a total of 50lbs since Sept 2009. I can't believe it. I had surgery in Dec 2009 and have lost 28lbs since surgery. It is absolutly amazing! I am starting to feel it in my clothes, my desk chair at work, etc. I am so excited about going to get new clothes here in another 20lbs or so. I can't wait to see where I will be in 1 year. Well...Yesterday My DH and I went out and looked at vitamins and what not so that I would have them at home before I had surgery. I bought Optisource vitamins and some B-12 sublinguals. After researching this website some more, I found out that in order to get what i would need for daily values, I would need to take 8, yes EIGHT!, tablets of Optisource to even come close to the 200% values a RNY patient would need. So then i researched the Celebrate vitamins and decided that i would go with them....
