Hey there girl, lucky you no platue yet.

Chicken salad like tuna salad cept' chicken? Or like chicken salad with lettuce and stuff? Just curious.

My nutritionist told me today that if I eat bites no bigger than my thumb nail and chew at least 20 times which = you puree in your mouth yourself. Then it really cuts down on the nauseated feeling.

I just thought that might be helpfull to know.

I am become totally bored with my food pallet but then again I am too afraid to try the new old stuff they told me I could slowly add back in now. *lol*

Thanks! I haven't hit a plateau yet... but I think one of the easiest ways I get my protein in is those carnation instant breakfasts plus I made this awesome chicken salad and I just eat that for my meals. It hasnt been extremely easy, but I've been doing it.

Congrats on the awesome weight loss so far. No platue yet? I hit mine 3 weeks out and I got bummed but then decided to stop weighing myself. :P

I just went for a follow at my Gp.'s office and found out in total I've lost 21 pounds so far so I am happy now. My metabolism is slow. I guess I am not getting enough protein but I suck at that.

You have a good weekend too and keep eating well, it's key to bouncing back from this surgery.

Thanks for the advice! I haven't thrown up yet. I ate eggs, pudding, pureed roast and corn, and pudding and cottage cheese and haven't gotten sick at all. I dunno. I'm hoping it never happens. But I'm sure it will.

I lost 19.5 lbs so far already so I'm excited!

Hope you have a great weekend girl!!!! xoxoxox

Ohh yay for you!! I know what you mean about wanting the new yet old familiar tastes back in your diet.

Eggs and I are not the best of friends right now. I was told I was getting them from the wrong place. I would buy them scrambled already from McDonalds and they are pretty dry and hard to digest. So I would within 15 minutes feel the awful twisting in my chest between my breast and then immediately comment the throw up vest.

You have to be very careful once that starts because your pouch is so small and barely holds anything once you notice you are no longer throwing up food you have to try to get it to stop. I dehydrated myself this way only 2 weeks out and I ended up back in the emergency room. So please be very careful.

The only type of egg right now I can stand is sunny side up and at that I only eat the egg yolk.

Oatmeal is another food that still feels too heavy or dense for me. And so are wet corn flakes or Frosted flakes. I can tolerate them but I notice I eat way less in a serving of those than of the Rice Krispies or Cheerios.

Also I am lucky that I have no problem so far with milk. But do remember CHOCOLATE milk this early out is a big nono for some reason. I think it's the chocolate personally. So I tried it and made myself deathly ill. :P

    Thanks for the add!

So today was my 1st follow up appointment and they progressed me to phase 2 pureed foods. I had 1 egg scrambled and it was nice to eat something for once.

Have you had any problems keeping food down? and about how long after you eat does it come back up if it's going to?

I know that sounds silly or gross but I really don't know what to anticipate.
