I'm glad to hear your daughter is doing well! I'm sure you will do well with the RNY especially since your daughter has it too. You guys can work together, and you can follow her example. I think that would be great.
I'm doing well. My loss has been on the slow side, but I'm 73 pounds down and 7 months out. I'm getting there. My only problem right now is my gall bladder. I'm having that removed soon...I see the surgeon tomorrow to schedule surgery. I am really happy with what I've done so far though. Great seeing you! I hope to see you around here more often...especially since you are going for the RNY, this is a great place to get support. Good luck, and let me know how it all goes down.

Hi Laura,

She's doing really well. So far so good after a few set backs in the beginning she's lost over 140 llbs so far and is still going. Not as fast as she had in the beginning and actually that was really tooooo fast but still she's doing really well.

Now I had my Lap band removed in October since it never worked and now I'm thinking of getting the RNY? I've been too scared I'll screw that up too but I think I'm at the point where I'm willing to give it a try as long as my insurance will cover it. I think it will though but still cross your fingers for me.

Anyway how are you doing Laura, it's been a long time since I've been here since I have not had any probs recently with my daughter and I have been a total failure well my band was a total failure trying to be positive. Anyway let me know how your are, take care Nancy.
