That's awesome!!! I am actually going to try my first pureed 'meal' from the book in about an hour--The Deviled Egg Salad, minus onion/hot paprika. Let me know what you think, okay? --hugs!

Go with the pickles for the "crunch" feeling. I used to be a cracker/chip addict. If you HAVE to have chips in a party-type setting or something, i'd pick up baked chips. They are awesome and come in diff flavors. Even now, i'd rather not fill up on crackers and that crap, but I need that crunch. Plus, pringles and ritz actually make me dump.

Oh my! congrats on your weight loss so far!! Simply awesome! Okay, may I suggest a book for you? I ordered it and at first thought it was a so-so book, however, this book has the portion/type food approximations for each kind of surgery and for how far out from surgery you are! So, I'm liking it more and more each day! See if it helps you with those choices...just a suggestion--you may find something else that will help!

Hi! I'm feeling better and better each day. I wasn't expecting the emotional side to kick in this week when I returned to the office, so I'm working from home this week (I look at people and get teary for no dang reason at all!). Other than that I can not WAIT to get off clear liquids!!

How are you doing so far? I haven't even stepped on a scale actually--but, will do so tomorrow when I see the surgeon!

Feeling great, but well past ready to have this darned drain removed. Otherwise, I couldn't be happier. So far, I think I have been one of the luckier ones.
