Everything I do is "low-fat". Fat-free is icky. I wish I had your willpower not to step on the scale. I'm on there every freakin' day! Good luck with your appt!

I think I'd be content living on Wendy's chili until my taste buds snap into shape I swear!! I refuse to drink any more protein drinks ever again! they taste like caca, and the smell. OMG. I go see my surgeon for the first time since surgery so I'm going to step on the scale for the first time since 10/27...I hope I've lost some weight other than my wrists (watch is a bit looser), and ankles (they look skinnier next to the rest of my legs!!) I'm wondering if the 2% cottage cheese is okay...the non-fat tastes...well as bad as everything else. LOL, so how are you?!

Protein drinks make me SICK! Post op they made me want to die. I have been getting quite a bit of protein in, but not as much as I'd like. Obviously it'll get better as my tum heals, but it's frustrating. I am losing a lot of weight, which is pretty exciting! I hope everything goes well with the surgeon. Have you tried cottage cheese?

I'm doing pretty good, how about you? I think you're doing great so far and seem to have yourself in cheque I'm still having issues with the protein and have pretty much resigned myself to just drinking water. I am having issues with protein and hope that I finally get to see my surgeon this week. I'll hopefully learn that I've lost some weight...hope I do as well as you have! Keep in touch--I'm so happy for your changes so far, girlfriend!

Morgan!! How are you?! I'm feeling better physically--just so looking forward to getting off these clear fluids. I'm not hungry at all--but having a more and more difficult time getting fluids down because it is so boring I guess!

Oh my! 12 pounds in one week?! Oh my goodness--that's so cool, and I'm so happy for you!! Wow! Yay!

Know what? I haven't stepped on a scale yet. I will when I go to the doctor's tomorrow so have your fingers crossed! Sometimes I feel so bloated and as if there's no change at all--in fact felt even bigger for a while there! After tomorrow, I'll weigh in weekly and try not to focus on the scale...that'll be difficult though!

    /hugs!!

Okay, now that sounds good...I'm not much for a lot of the regular sugar free ones--only like a couple of them. OH! Here's a tip from my Patient Advocate: Do NOT eat Red popcicles 48 hours before surgery. the red dye turns pee deep orange and makes med staff think you have a urinary infection and may stall things. What's the name of the sugar free tropical? I lOVE coconut/pineapple kinds of stuff
