That's awesome!!! I am actually going to try my first pureed 'meal' from the book in about an hour--The Deviled Egg Salad, minus onion/hot paprika. Let me know what you think, okay? --hugs!

Oh my! congrats on your weight loss so far!! Simply awesome! Okay, may I suggest a book for you? I ordered it and at first thought it was a so-so book, however, this book has the portion/type food approximations for each kind of surgery and for how far out from surgery you are! So, I'm liking it more and more each day! See if it helps you with those choices...just a suggestion--you may find something else that will help!

Well, I'm down 30.5 lbs but I have not tried to weigh since last Saturday. Will weigh again on Sat and see where I'm at. I'm struggling with if I'm eating right, etc. My doc did not provide a very good list of stuff and for some reason I didn't have to see the nutritionist so I'm going by reading here and Beth's information. I hate not having energy though! I had a ton of it right after surgery, not so much right now. I'm sure it will come back though.

Hang in there! I know that scale will be movin for ya!!

Hi! I'm feeling better and better each day. I wasn't expecting the emotional side to kick in this week when I returned to the office, so I'm working from home this week (I look at people and get teary for no dang reason at all!). Other than that I can not WAIT to get off clear liquids!!

How are you doing so far? I haven't even stepped on a scale actually--but, will do so tomorrow when I see the surgeon!
