My surgery was August 27th.I just looked on the calender. It has been 74 days since I had surgery.I have lost 69 pounds so that is very close to a pond a day.I hope it keeps up that way..lol.. So how is it going for you?I saw someone today who had a bypass about 9 months ago and she looked thin and frail and I worried for a while ..but,she told me that she hasn't really ever taken any suplements or protein.I got onto her. I think the supplements and protein do so much for you.Are you getting in all yours? How is soft food treating you?

I meant to ask you does Dr.bruce have you just drinking one protein drink? She likes to have the highest weightloss lol. She didn't really want us to drink even one but, Jerry the nut finally convinced her that we needed the protein. She told me she thought the drinks were teaching us to eat when we weren't hungry lol.

I had a appointment with Dr.bruce this wed. this is the second rescheldule. Now i am suppose to go on Wed. Nov. 18th. I go to her clinic off 1432 behind the hospital. If she is having her baby seems like we would just be seeing someone else in the group? I will be glad to get some labs done I have been freezing all the time..lol ..think that possibly my iron is low.I picked up some iron pills from whole foods last night hopefully that will help. Also my fingertips are going numb alot. Other than that I am doing great.

Well, I'm down 30.5 lbs but I have not tried to weigh since last Saturday. Will weigh again on Sat and see where I'm at. I'm struggling with if I'm eating right, etc. My doc did not provide a very good list of stuff and for some reason I didn't have to see the nutritionist so I'm going by reading here and Beth's information. I hate not having energy though! I had a ton of it right after surgery, not so much right now. I'm sure it will come back though.

Hang in there! I know that scale will be movin for ya!!
