Hi there,
How are things with you? I'm trying not to get too excited yet, but I got a date for surgery yesterday! 
I'm scheduled to have my RNY surgery 8/9/08. Of course that is if my insurance company approves the surgery. I thought that my surgeon's office would send the paperwork in to BC/BS first b-4 they scheduled me, but who am I to say. 
I understand that each process may be different, but what were the steps that your surgeon's office took leading up to your surgery?

Elle, I really have not experienced any changes with my emotional state, I'm still crazy as ever. Physically, I feel better, more energetic. My partner stayed home with me the first week. I really didn't need her too after the first couple of days. It is helpful and is an ease to your mind. I slept a lot the first couple of days, a little slow going ya know. Talk to you soon, Beck
