Duckie, Duckie, Duckie! Of course I'll accept you as a friend! We had a news story about a momma duck who's chicks accidentally fell into a dry street drain. She walked around the curb quacking - someone called animal control who opened the man-hole and got the lil duckies out - all the while momma was watching. They were put in a box, and slowly walked to a nearby park, with momma duck following, and let them loose in the lake. Momma got in the and her "kids" all swam around her. It was so cool to watch! Momma duck knew the humans were there to help.
