Thank you so much for saying that! Yeah got first fill yesterday at 9 am and so far I have had no problem but I haven't eaten anything really solid yet. The closest thing to solid was mashed potatoes. Doc said mornings tend to be tighter so its 640am and I guess I will see what happens. One of the things I am working toward also is a trip to Cancun Mexico I have planned in March. So, obviously I would like to lose as much as possible by then. So, I need my sweet spot to be now! The doc gave me 3cc's and said if by next week I don't feel restriction I can come back in for one more. I can't wait to be where you are! It motivates me to hear you say that and gives me hope. Your first fill is almost here! I didn't have any restriction after my first, but it all depends on how much they give you. Keep getting those fills on schedule and you'll get there soon. Bandster Hell is the pits, but it doesn't last forever. I promise you'll get there. My blog today was about adding calories because I wasn't eating enough...can you believe that! hi friend! So you said things really start speeding up after banding...do you mean after the fills start? Because I am banded its just not filled so i really dont have any restriction at all right now- my first fill is on 10/5 -they moved it up from 10/11 thank god! Congratulations on your bandiversary!!!!

Hey friend! You'll get there soon enough! I'm celebrating my 6-mo. Bandiversary tomorrow and I can't believe its been 6 months...things really start speeding up after banding. Keep posting and getting support...it helps a lot! Your friend -BG

Hi, I just wanted to thank you for your response to one of my most recent threads talking about this "bandster hell period". I really appreciated what you had to say-it helped me to understand and put things into perspective. I really was unaware of how little restriction I would have-it's true that this is harder than those 6 months too-mainly because during those 6 months I was able to do other exercise besides just walking and that made the weight loss much easier and gave me more room for different things in my diet. But anyway-I do thank you very much! It's nice to have you on here. Talk to you soon.
