In truth I can't say they that they didn't because my pre-assessment was months ago, 3rd July. Since then I've gone through a lot with these guys, more tests, backwards and forwards with the admissions people - frustration after frustration. So if they told me back then they surely did not remind me of it throughout the many conversations and contacts that we've had. I was not given a information sheet that I could refer to. so hey, who to blame!

I've been sent home they found wheezing on my chest and I was still taking a particular blood thinning drug, on that basis they could not go ahead with surgery.

Hey friend...just checking up on you. Great new pic...you look awesome! See you're still traveling a lot too. Still pluggin' away at it slowly (65 gone total and about 25-35 to go...wow that sounds good to say).

DH and I just got back from a week in AZ (joined him after his business there)...I got to see the Grand Canyon for the first time; and get this...I had no trouble hiking (and no, I haven't been exercising nearly enough, so this shocked me). We even went partway down into the canyon and up; and then up 500' to the top of a Mesa in Sedona. It's freezing here (snow flurries already) so send some warmer weather this way!

Hope all is well with you. Talk to you soon. -BG

    Avi,

I posted a new avatar photo for you just this week. I never did before photos so won't get to share the contrast. I am down 42 lbs which is so much less than most around here but it is about 45% of personal goal and 80% of surgeon's goal. As for the title under my name, yes, there have ben some changes around here and just a few weeks ago, in response to requests and a perceived need, I was tapped to be the first official site moderator by John and Dr. C. Several others have since come on board (thankfully). Our titles have been adjusted from "moderator" to "community leader". Glad to have you check in. I look forward to reading about the next two deals which have had you engaged. xo
