Hey Mel, How's thangs? Just thought I'd stop in and check up on my friends on here....haven't talked to anyone really in over a month...been a busy little bee here....
How's the weight loss? Eating? Drinking? That kinda thing....)
I'm almost 9 weeks out and down 40 pounds, WOOT!

Mel, thanks for the good luck message, i feel a little nervous but ready to be healthy! Its day 7 of my 10 day pre-op diet and i havent cheated and ive lost 15 lbs. I think i might vote befor my surgery since i dont have to be to the hospital till 11 am.

Hahaha yea and thats what people want to see in pictures! LOL I wish my stomach would go though lol.. hopefully soon!

Well im doing okay now! They gave me some liquid vicodin and I have just been taking it easy.. Nothing makes the pain completely go away but its totally worth it! I have already lost 2 more lbs plus the 18 I lost before surgery. It totally made it worth it today when one of my friends said my face even looking slimmer! LOL

Thnx girlie for the helpful info..im sooo ready to get this done!! Weird thing is my mom and dad and hubby are the only ones supporting me.... Brothers think i should diet more...whatever

Hi Mel...Love your page its sooo colorful! No Im not using tricare...going through base(huge hospital on base). I get my date on 10/20 im like on pins and needles wondering and waiting. How do u feel? I heard gas is the worse pain so far?

Hey thanks for replying. We are stationed in Norfolk, VA. We will more than likely be here until he retires. He has less than 3 years left for his 20. WooHoo on your hubby coming back. I'm sure that will be great for your recovery. When was your date?
