Army wife losing it

Hey! Glad you're home and doing well! How are you feeling? I'm hanging in. Having some post-op problems (intense heart burn/stomach pain) but am hoping to figure it out soon! Going to go to the doctor tomorrow. Other than that, I'm hanging in. =)

Hey! I'm feeling okay. Still a little sore but not like, "I'm gonna die" type of pain. Surgery went well. It was clocked at under three hours and that was with my gallbladder taken out. I'm so happy because I get to go back to school tomorrow! *yay*

How are you hanging?? =) Its a tough week, but will be well worth it in the end, promise! I was so hungry before surgery and now its tough to even get myself motivated to drink. Do you have someone helping out with your little ones? The recovery is a bit more intense that I had anticipated. I have very little energy (it comes in spurts). Make sure you're taking care of yourself! I look forward to traveling this journey together. =)

Man, this "liver shrinking" diet is awful.

Hang in there with the diet though; I'm so hungry that I'll take whole wheat toast!

(Of course I don't. I want the doctor to open me, let the room smell like chicken broth and compliment me on how beautiful my liver is!)

I'm new to this area. I live at Fort Lee and we've only been in VA a little over 1 1/2 years. I hear Bautista is good, do you agree? I work on Southside on the campus of Johnston Willis. I do Medical Pedicures. OMG you go in for surgery the day I start my 14 day liquid diet. Best of luck to you and let me know how it goes.

Hey! Glad you found me! I'm having surgery on the 7th at MCV and am pretty nervous! I had surgery with Dr. Bautista a couple of years ago, but had a reaction to my lap band and had to have it removed. Janine, his nurse, is great. Hope you've got a chance to meet her. What work do you do in Richmond?
