Hi everyone! I'm sorry I haven't answered any messages... i've been m.i.a. for sure.

so the recent news is... i'm not having the surgery. after all the tests, sleep study, mri's, STRESS TESTS (that evil bastard of a test!), dieting, etc.... i found out that i'm pregnant!

so i guess this journey will be put on hold for awhile. this is a scary thing tho, to be obese and pregnant! never had this before!

well, i wish everyone luck on their journies!...

well, after paying THE BILLS tonight, i've realized that GB is becoming more and more of a welcome change.

as i'm balancing the checkbook, minus this, minus that... i noticed that 95% of the stuff we buy is FOOD related! and it's hella expensive!!!!

so as i'm minusing and cursing the fact that we're broke til next payday, i do this with a big fat grin on my face... knowing that my future food bills are gonna be kicking the recession in the arse and mending my broke...

so, i believe i'm over the FREAKED OUT hump. i talked myself through an understanding to where i'm comfortable with this change. i gotta do what i gotta do to end this vicious cycle of failed attempts, pigging out, no exercise, too tired to play with my young children... I'M DONE. so, yes, i welcome you new life, the change is needed, my life depends on it!

all the docs have cleared me but ONE... still waiting for the neurologist to do my mri and blood test results then i'm good...

this is the second time i'm "enrolled" in the queen's comprehensive weight management program. the first time around, i thought i could do "traditional" weight loss. well, i did lose 30 pounds (around there), but then i gained it all back while on a trip to washington. a few years later, here i am another 20 or so pounds more! my health issues seem to be piling up. i have allergies (hives), severe migraines, heartburn, gastrointestinal issues, and more recently, hair loss...
