So I am sitting here listening to Pink's song "Sober". I love her, she does not care what people think about her and always speaks her mind. Both qualities I can relate to. While I have never struggled with a drug or alchohol addiction, in a sense food was my drug. My friend, comfort and the one thing I could always count on. RIP, I don't "need" you anymore to function and thrive!

I have never blogged before but I figured since this journey is so life altering it would be a good time to start. Hopefully it will provide some insight to others who decided to take this drastic step. Selfishly so also doing it so I can look back and reflect on the path taken to the goal.
I am 5 weeks post op from LAP RNY. Down 32lbs and at a stall. The damn scale has not moved in a week. Inches are coming off but I still want to see the numbers on that thing go down!
