Wow, I can't believe that it has been so long since I have posted.
Well, since my last post I've had my surgery approved on 8/14/08 and scheduled for 9/19/08. I have my pre-op appointment with the surgeon in only a couple of days (9/4/08) and I am getting nervous all the time. The nervousness is starting to effect my wife, and she has noticed that I have been more quick to anger and frustration than before. I have to admit that I have hurt her feelings too many times.

Well I made it through the day without much difficulty until I dicussed with my wife about me going to my parents for a week starting this afternoon. We had been talking about this for about two weeks, but she freaked!
She insisted that I not go and that she was not ready for me to be gone for a week. We wrestled with the idea, abd I even tried giving and agreeing not to go, but then she just insisted that I do go. I had to end the night with just ignoring her and going to sleep....

Last night my wife and I had a bit of a rough night. It was pretty typical of married people occasional. I was getting on her nerves and inadvertantly hurting her feelings, and she was being argumentative and obstinant. Anyway, after that whole thing I was not in a place to blog.

It was not neccisarily a bad day, just a few lingering problems made it hard. I waited all this time to get my request sent to my insurance co. and I could handle it. I was frustrated, but I was determined. Now, since they have sent the request, the whole surgery thing seems much more real. However, hanging in this limbo state with nothing in particular to do, except definitely not gain any weight, is driving me nuts. I feel like I'm preoccupied with the situation all of the time. Well yesturday ended worse than I left off. At the end of the day I caved and had a rather large serving of sugar free, fat free frozen yogurt. It was a big mistake, I was totally sickened by it, except I could not throw up.
This morning began early. The land lord said he needed to drop in and the place was a mess. Linda Kay and myself were both really tired, so the cleaning went at what seemed like a snails pace.
