Tomorrow i go for 1 month post op. I hope the needle has moved on the scale and i get to update my ticker!

well i lost 78lbs in 10months it took me that long to get a date. but i use green tea pills to help me.

Hi 1HotMama. Um...are you really? :: smiles :: Regarding the jello, I did not wait 30 minutes. Regarding the pain, I had no pain after 3 days and went back to work, but my procedure was lap VSG, not RNY. Ive really never had pain at all, except when sittting up the first few days. I took pain meds for two days period. After that, nada. Have you read Aviator's Log Book? it gives some important info from my pre-op days until now. Could be helpful for you.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate the support. I love my friend with all of my heart and she came to me and told me that she wants to do this but she was scared to do it alone and I am not going to let her. I cherise everyone of my friends and would do anything to support them. I could have just been someone for her to talk to or whatever but I think she deserves more than that. Plus I'm a big girl too. I get to help a friend out while helping myself. Plus the extra bonus of my kids being more aware of their diet and exercise. I'm super excited. I can't wait for her surgery. Thanks so much for the kind words. I look forward to chatting with you more!
