    'than,
I am a classically trained mezzo, but really, I have been a contralto, and screw those who think otherwise! LOL
In any case, I have noticed over the years that my breathing to support the singing is really compromised, and I do think it is all this belly fat! I can get the breath to the diaphragm, but can't get it to support...and the double chins cause problems with jaw tension. On a good day, I can still wail, but I can't wait to see what happens when I am no longer fighting all the weight!

This is great! Where did you get your training? I went to Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, and studied with Marie Di Palma. My daughter is there now, studying to be a CONTRALTO with a delightful woman, Kim Roberts. She plans on becoming a vocal music educator as well.

It's wonderful to have someone to talk shop with!

You look beautiful and year younger. Short hair is so much easier I think.
