Chrisie, I do feel much healthier. It is weird to actually feel lighter as well. I jog every night and I NEVER thought I would be able to jog!
Marty, Not having online support or group support was tough. But I have managed and here I am! This week I will be back online! Woo Hoo!
Robin, Thanks for the kind words. I hope that we can all get together in May. I would really love that!
Jen, I miss you too girl! Let's go to Incahoots and see what happens, lol. Hey, you know I still talk to that guy I met up with there! Can I just say how amazing you look!!! And you had your surgery after me and weigh less then I do...talk about beeotch!!!! Thats just not right. I will call you I promise. I want to see you when I am there next month.

Laura,

I wouldn't recognize you if I saw you today. What a difference a year makes. You look so happy and I am happy for your success. I only remember meeting you when you were pre-op....you were beautiful then and now your beauty just glows even more! Glad to see you posting.

Naw, but pretty darn close...Tucson, my hometown. I'm waiting until this semester is over before I will decide for sure.

I will have to look at my schedule and see if I can join you when you visit for a girl's night out.

If I do move, we can carpool to San Diego for a girls' vacation!

You look incredible. You are an inspiration to me. I have 140 pounds to lose. And though logically I know it can be done with the use of the surgery as a tool, the part of me that has been so dissappointed after failed diet after failed diet..... So you wanted to be an inspiration to people getting ready for surgery, and believe me you are!!!

You look so terrific!!! I cannot believe that you are the same person in the before and after pic!! I started out having to loose 137 pounds, so it is awesome to look at you and peeps who have gone before me - it's kinda like looking into a crystal ball to see what I could potentially look like someday. Thanks for being such an inspiration - thanks for coming back online

I am so amazed how this surgery has worked for me! It really is a tool. I now have to work at loosing my last 50lbs. Had I of had a personal trainer, or excercised on a regular basis I am sure I would be at goal. I am dissapointed that I am not where I want to be but on the other hand I am so pleased with where I am as well.

A year ago tonight I was preparing to go into the hospital. I still remember who came to visit me. Bridget, Kim and Dara. You were my little angles and I thank you still a year later for answering so many of my questions and making me feel welcome into the stapler sister world!

I have missed you on the fourm. Although I have not been active on the fourm I do check it every few days. I remember our surgery date and still consider you my podmate. I have never really found anyone else that had the second or third surgeries on my date. But I was getting a little worried about you when I hadnt seen you post for awhile.
I hope that things are looking up for you. I know what you mean about the depression and stuff. Although I have never thought I had anything to be depressed about(I mean look how lucky I am being married to the greatest woman in the world) But I have realized lately that I have been a bit depressed. But if you ever need to talk just email me or give us a call. Irela and I would help anyway we can.

Happy "Rebirth day" I know that I am a little late wishing you that but life has been a little hectic lately.

You look amazing. I can relate to you a lot.... we had our surgeries about 2 weeks apart and started close to the same weight, and currently weight about the same!
