I was going to tease you Cali's that 46 degrees isn't cold!!! It's like 5 degrees here in Minnesota.
But, we don't have dances on our porches in December (usually)....we just go out on the ice and fish into a hole for hours on end....and bundle up like eskimos to go snowmobiling, or skiing, or ice-skating....and still freeze our butts off.
So, who's crazier????
You guys look like you had a blast! Sorry I missed it!

But, Annelle, the difference is that when you go out, you dress for it. Since we're totally weather-spoiled, we go to parties like Rain's in skimpy cocktail dresses and strappy sandals. B-r-r-r-r-r-r...

Well, yes and no....last weekend we had a semi-formal dance through our church, and LOTS of ladies were wearing sleevless long-dresses, and they only have a dress coat on (not that much coverage) when they go outside for the drive to and from the dance, and they had skimpy high-heeled sandles despite the 3 inches of snow that had fallen during the day, and of course they didn't wear boots for the drive.....B-r-r-r-r-r-r-r!!!
I think no matter where you are, it's all about looking hot even if you're freezing your butt off!!!!!
