Sandi,
That is one HOT looking group of people...I can hardly believe that I allowed my picture to be taken with my hands behind my back. It wasn't long ago that I would have held my hand in front, trying to hide my gut!

You go girl!! You're doing SO good!!!
I have found Jim's card with his number that he said to call him once we found a place to hold the East County meetings, I sent the numbers to one of the girls who's pastor, I believe, said we could have them in her church!
So, hang tight, it's in the works!!!
Keep up the great work, you're just melting away!!

Smile Too bad Tracie left

Too bad Tracie left, but the picture is wonderful anyway!!! It is kind of dark though isn't it?? Maybe not, I do have my new glasses on order so hopefully by tomorrow I will have them so I can once again see. Oh about the vision thing, my eye Dr. said that it could be my blood sugars out of control, so I checked them and have been checking since and they have all been within normal range. He also said I have to come back in 6 months instead of 1 - 2 years because I will probably have another vision change. Just FYI for anyone who is having or will have vision problems after surgery.. maybe it is normal??? Either way he congratulated me on my success and talked to me about a friend of his who was looking into the surgery. I hope his friend is able to get his Dr. to put in the referral.

Awww Stuart, you're such an inspiration, when I see you guys and girls who have lost so much, it just takes my breath away, just knowing that it really does work, it gets me from one of these little plateaus to the next... I couldn't believe it when I got on the scale this morning and had gained a half a pound, I sure don't understand that....
I'll be seeing my endocrinologist this morning, I can only guess that my insulin may have a part in it... but, I'm still smiling cuz I know eventually they'll get it all straightened out and I won't have to hide in all the pictures, I'll be able to stand out there in front and not be ashamed or embarrassed.... YOU GO GUY!!!!!

Smile Miss Sandi

Sandi,

Gaining a half a pound is normal. I have gained up to 5 from being err ahhh constipated..

Don't you fret my friend, it's all good. You'll lose that half a pound and then some very soon. Just let your body adjust to the changes. I usually gain several times a week and by the end of the week it's down. I don't fret over it so you don't either ok my dear friend. I love you too much!!!

Glad to know you had fun at Outback. I would've gone, but felt like hurling all yesterday. Don't mean to be too graphic here. I am thinking it is the Actigal. Kelly told me to take it 2 weeks out and ever since then I have been feeling awful. Anyone else with this problem?

Next meeting I will try and feel better to go to Outback, dunno what I will be able to eat though???

Talking What a Great Group

Hey you guys,

I have come to the realization that you all are soooo GREAT! I had the best time last night. I have never felt so comfortable offering up my insecurities to a group of strangers before. Well, you're not really strangers anymore. But anyway, we did have such a good time at Outback. I really wish more people would go next meeting. I was cracking up...especially with GERRY's Little House On The Prarie story.

So, just know that I Love You Guys. You're really good friends. And thank you for your support.

Awwww~ teardrop~
