Beth, I don't come on here too often, but do come peek from time to time, usually just don't say anything.....but this time I had to stop and say WOW, your photos look AWESOME!!! The difference is just amazing!! You look so happy now, and of course way younger!!! You don't even look like the same person. I know you haven't been "complication free" in your journey....that's for sure!!! Still, you look soooo VERY happy, I can tell you don't regret your decision for a minute!!!

SoCal, I'm so glad my pictures inspire you and give you confidence. This is such an awesome gift we are given and being able to help others brings me so much joy.
Elaine, so good to see you again, my dear!! Yes, I have struggled with several health issues over the year and I am still struggling with some but there will always be challenges in life. The surgery didn't change that so I try to look at all the positive things this surgery has brought into my life. I still look at it as the best gift I have ever given myself and yes, I truly am happy.

ahhhh, is that it. The photographer had me doing all sorts of things. I was trying to balance on the roots of the tree in my heels with that one and the wind was blowing like crazy! I see where you are coming from, Jo, it certainly was one of the least posed of all the pictures.
I haven't seen the brochure yet. They used the one of me walking. Can't say that was my favorite but they didn't ask for my opinion. I'm not even sure what before picture they decided on. I'm anxious to see it all put together though. It's supposed to be available on the bariatric unit and in doctor's offices.
