I agree...a year makes quite the difference
Anyone else find that on your surgiversary you get all contimplative. I posted this on my face book
Well today made one year since my Gastric Bypass, I can't believe it has been a whole year. I can remember all the emotions that I went through prior to surgery, the HORRIBLE 17 day liquid diet, and and very painful realization as to what food really meant to me. It has been a tough year, there has been tears but for the most part, it has been amazing. I went from a size 26 to a 6/8/10 (depends on what I am wearing). I am still losing, but slowly now. I exercise, I run, and I have discovered a new love for my job. I switched schools this year, so the people only know this Cari, but I know the good, the bad and the ugly. EVERYONE around me has been so supportive, and I appreciate it. Even if they do not understand why I did it, they never say it to me. I am so thankful for everything that I have gained and lost. I am really at a loss for words, What a difference a year makes.
