Well we moved into my parents house for now. Looking for something close to the kids school. Rob is getting out of jail a lot sooner than I expected!!! So i got an order of protection and told the judge all the things he has done, he was served later thatnight this was Thursday.. Now from the beginning of all this I told my MIL NOT to allow the kids to talk to him on the phone and everything was fine it was pretty much my way or n way with the whole situation lol.

Now mind you my MIL has NOT been around for the past 8 years, now since Rob was arrested and I told him where to go Mommy is all for him...Flipped out on me when se found out I got an order of protection. Saying Rob was going to kill himself if he didnt have me in his life....Idon't care nemore I am done with him!!! So to make a loooooong story short after telling her the kids were NOT to talk 2 Rob she allowed my son to talk to him 2 days after I got he restraining order!!!! Needless to say they are NOT going going to her house anymore she will have to come here to see the kids. I can't trust her!!! Meanwhile it was her SON that kept her from the kids all these years. Not me yet she is taking his side, asking my son if I hit him etc..My son does not need this he has been affected by all of this so badly and she knows this, so when I go back to court on the 24th I will be getting a restraining order against her also!!!!

This sound awful. Hope your folks are able to give you the support and help you need. Your family is in my prayers Laura - what a messed up situation - yuck!

Why was he arrested Laura? I don't remember. I'm sooooo sorry you are going through all this. I know he was a no-good person from all the things I have read a while ago. I hope you and your kids find some closure with this soon and can get on with your lives without being affected by him. As far as MIL goes, she don't deserve to see her grandkids if she don't put them first. She needs to realize that you are protecting them. Geezzzzzz, her son is in jail, how much of a good example can he be to the kids? She is wicked crazy, if you ask me and deserves whatever you decide. Keep in touch and take care. Laura, I know what you're going through on the MIL front. During my divorce my ex's mom totally took his side, as expected. She blamed me for everything, however, it was HER son that kept her away from us for the 11 years we were married. Hugs hun, it'll get better.

Yep thats exactly what he did to her and now instead of tryin to bulid a relatinship with her grand kids she is more worried about her son.....who btw has a total of 18 arrests!!!!!..........yep you read right!!! Somet

hing is brewing I have not heard from her all week and we have a court date for the restraining order this week....they are up to something!!!

I dont have much to say as Ive been lucky I guess never been in your situation, but I want to say I hope this gets resolved for u and I wish u strength .

Thank you Sassy, I am REALLY just worried about this court date on the 24th....God only knows what he is going to make up!!!! But I should't worry I have a notebook FULL of all the crap he has done over the years to me and the kids!!!

The courts are not daft and if he has a record as long as his arm the judge 's see through all of that .
Just go tell the truth , be strong and stay calm .

Laura, honey I am so sorry. I didn't even know you were going through some much drama. I know better times are ahead. Keep your head up sweety, you have so many good times ahead.
