A lot of you don't know me, I'm Jo from Oceanside. I had gastric bypass surgery on 7/14/03 with Dr. Callery. It's the best thing I've ever done for myself and I'd do it again if I had to make that decision all over again.

I'm headed off for Watkins Glen, NY to compete in the 59th NFAA OUTDOOR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AND THE 2004 IFAA WORLD FIELD ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIP on JULY 19-23, 2004. You can bet that I'd never had attempted this prior to my surgery, I was just to aware of how much I felt I didn't fit into things (other than clothes that is).

Anyway, I'm happier and healthier and pleased to be around to say so.
