I_love_Hello Kitty

I started working on my kids' 2007 scrapbooks today (I do the Shutterfly photobooks now)..and ran across some photos of me before surgery last year around February (before I even researched it). I WAS SHOCKED! I mean I knew I had gotten heavy...but DID I REALLY LOOK LIKE THAT???????!!!!!!!

It kind of makes me sick to my stomach (no pun intended)...and shake in my shoes that I could gain weight and possibly look like that again. The one photo is in front of a group of Girl Scouts and their parents (like 100 people...I can't believe I got up in front of all those people looking like that!) The other photo is on the Buzz Lightyear Ride at Disneyland with my son who was 3 at the time...I think if I knew I looked so stuffed in that car maybe I wouldn't have been smiling. The last photo is from today...94 lbs down.

I clearly look different...but I must say..the old photos not only shocked me...but have put the fear of God in me. Seriously...kinda makes me want to cry. And even in the after photo...I think..I still need to lose weight. Its all mental...urgh.

Miss Simone, I have to agree with Van 100%! You were and still are a beautiful woman! Yes, it is hard for all of us to look at those before pictures. I still don't like seeing them but you know what? They certainly make me very proud of myself!

You are doing awesome and you really should be so proud of the beautiful woman that you are!

Its just sooo freaky looking back. Honestly....I never knew I looked that way. Weird. Plus I don't want to put those photos in my kids' books...I guess I'll just have to start with 2008.

I was thinking the same thing! How great you looked then and how great you look now. As far as the pic's I think you should. That was still a part of your life. What a great pic of you and your son! What a cutie! You both looked like you were having a blast! Keep up the good work!
