I_love_Hello Kitty

Ok I am finally doing this...I am 7.5 months out and 87lbs down.

I just got back from my cruise to the bahamas. And I promised photos.

My before photo I have a real emotional connection to...it was taked Chrsitmas Eve of 2006. I always have a special dinner with my closest friends...I cook a nice dinner, I do fancy invitations...all the kids get presents...its very special. That specific night I clearly remember nothing fit me...and as people were arriving downstairs I was upstairs in a panic trying to "look good". But nothing fit. I had no time to do my hair and I just felt really bad about myself. I felt like I looked like sh*t...and I think I did. I felt bad about myself the whole night...despite the smile. And I will always remember how that felt...going to so much trouble to do a nice holiday dinner for those I love and yet feeling so awful.

The "after" photos were all taken last week on the cruise....I felt good about myself. The one in the pink shirt is in my cabin onboard. Then there is one my with the whole family on formal dinner night, and then one with my hubby and daughter getting off the ship for an excursion, and then me alone standing at Paradise Point in St. Thomas.

I hope you can see a change. I feel it. Still a way to go...but ohhhh so much better.
