First ~Merry Christmas to all.
Some of you know that my Ran leaves for Iraq tomorrow, 12.26.2007.
We took a lot of pictures today.Some from this morning with Nick & presents.
One of me holding one of Rans weapons(yes, It is real) and a few Family pics by the house.

I am sure I will return to this post often over the year.PS~ Don't ask about the Gun Pic...My hubby loves me and his weapons and wanted my best"Laura Croft" pose.He leaves tomorrow, couldn't really say no to the guy.

Awwwwwww Amy, I have been thinking about you alot and wondering how you are doing and knowing you are cherishing EVERY minute until he leaves. My son, Shad, leaves for Iraq tomorrow too.

I get to tell him g'bye in a few hours. We are about to leave to take him back to Kentucky, a four hour drive, to leave him at base because he has to leave out in the morning at 4 am. The time just goes TOO fast when we have to say g'bye for a while. I'll be thinking about you today girl. Hold your head up and be proud of your hubby! Love ya bunches!

The picture of you with the rifle is somewhere between "Laura Croft, Tomb Raider" and "The Unit" Ha Ha! Either way, I wouldn't mess with you!!!!

Mike~ That is Ran's AR15, I love going to the range with it.He also placed his Glock on my hip but it is hard to see in the pic.I am not a bad shot..the only gun I have a hard time with is the Shotgun(Southern Staple),too much kick for this lil'mama.

Jersey~Thanks for the support, I have been on this site for almost three years and the last two have been more for emotional than WLS support.It is a great place for sure.

Vanessa, you and your family are so cute!!! I love the photos, and the sunshine, flowers, green grass, etc. etc......We are jealous here in our sweatshirts!!!! I know tomorrow will be rough...but please know that we love you and will help you any way we can. The time will fly by!!! Please tell your hubby how much we appreciate the sacrifice he's making for our us. Without people like him, I wouldn't be sitting here feeling safe and sound in my nice warm house typing to you!
