So we want more details. What are you doing today, when does he leave, what did HE say about your dress?

I haven't been on line in 4 or 5 days, and this thread was up when I opened my 'puter. Van, you look incredible in that dress! Your smile is so full of hope, love, anticipation, JOY, and confidence, I love it! Huh. Maybe the Mona Lisa was waiting for her man to come home, too!
Seriously, I think you look stunning, and I know just what you mean about the house being full of family love and family noises--we had that when Michelle got home from Alaska--even the critters were psyched and happy when I got her home. It's def something more to cherish. Put it in your memory banks so you can reflect on it later....in the meantime, enjoy your precious family time--it's such a brief snippet of time for you all!

Well, The V'ster is manless once again....

Here are some pics from the visit...
Rough day, thought it would be easier this time to say goodbye..NOT...
Anyway...I am not happy or sad....just void.I feel void.
Interview went good, still have no real idea what was discussed , you know classified.Less I know better for Nick & I safety wise.
Thanks for all the dress comments...$22 bucks from JC Penny's Peeps

Some are from a check point and I just loved the bird/barbed wire pic.The white condo's are where he sleeps I think when not in the feild.
Anyway, kinda neat seeing the photos...just sharing.

Wowzers Van - that sure went by quick. Your pix of you guys when he was home brought tears to my eyes - especially the one of him hugging Nick. The hammock pix shows just how dog tired he was - very gracious of you to have let him sleep rather than keeping him awake for some nookie.
Hugs to you sweetie - I know it is rough for you to not have him here still. Cling to the memories until you see him next time - this was such a gift!
