VPA, that's SO great that Randy gets to come home for 4 days. I know we will see little of you, but what a great excuse!

Van, I am floored by your courage, not making a fuss as he leaves his family to put himself even more in harm's way. I wouldn't be able to do that, especially with his son blooming into a young man. This is when they need their fathers the most--it's where and how they learn how to treat women on a deeper, more meaningful way than previously (since the big S-E-X gets into the mix).

And LESS communication? What a big-ass drag! I'm sure he's getting paid outrageous sums of money to play soldier in the sandbox, but is the money worth it? Do the MIB offer life insurance or disability coverage?

Oh, Honey, I will hold you in my heart until Ran is safely home again.

I am so happy you will get to see your man for a few. How exciting. It's rough having a job like his....hard on the family.....but the money is nice, I'm sure. Still, given a choice, I'm not sure what I'd pick....probably the money! lol!

Amy, I am so excited for you honey. I can't wait to hear all the details of his visit! You gotta come tell us about it when he leaves. I spoke with Shad a few days ago and he may be home for my b'day the first week in August. I'm so excited too!

I know this is VERY hard on you and you sorta feel like you are not even married now since you are having to be alone so much, but think of all the money you will be rolling in because your hubby loves his job and when he does come home, you guys will be able to enjoy life together and not worry about taking care of your son and having the things you want. Gosh, I wish I knew what that felt like. Count your blessings my dear friend.........you have a beautiful home in a beautiful place, a great job, a gorgeous child and hubby, and life is being very good to you. One day when we are rich, we are gonna get together and spend some time laughing over a Starbucks. I can't wait for that day to get a "real" VPA hug! Hang in there g'friend and enjoy your precious time with Ran as much as possible.

I agree with the others Van that you are so incredible to support Ran in the way you do - he is so lucky to have you - I also know I wouldn't be able to handle it.

Once you are all sexed up when is your next scheduled visit to Virginia Beach? I will be a resident in the end of June, and you always have a place to stay when you visit

Spoke to the man around 10am my time, 6pm his.He was just waiting for his one of many planes.He said he would try to call when he got to Stockholm..I am not holding my breath.

He should hit US soil around 6am Sunday and then fly into FT. Myers by noon.
He will be one tired dog, 22 total flying hours

I bought a Black & White sun dress to pick him up at the Airport...I like it but Nick said it was ugly...(I would hate for my son to hold his feelings back or anything...sheeessshhhh

)
