Default yikes,,,,its been too long.....

Hi everyone,,
well I had my surgery done Oct. 22nd and am now 5 weeks post op, feeling pretty good, still on mushy foods for the most part. still have some left side pain in the camera port area, but really have turned the corner on pain and energy in the last 2 weeks. Recovery has been something. I tried to go back to work after 2 weeks and was laid off due to lack of work, (finance industry)
which was a blessing in disguise because i was no where near ready....pain wise and wits wise. I am down 56 lbs since surgery and I feel good. I am so glad i had this done, its definatly been an experience of which has changed my life and is a true blessing!
hugs

Good to hear you are recovering well. Congratulations on the weight loss thus far. Sorry to hear about the job lay off, but it is really good that you had the chance to fully recover. Keep us posted... you are doing great!!!

Do I really want to be normal?? Having some body issues. Don't want to be too thin.
