Talking Thanks!

Thanks everybody,
Sandi, you are a sweetie for postng the picture, I am still real bad about getting my picture taken. My husband has managed to snap a picture or two, but I mostly avoid the camara.

I have been doing really good with this pregnancy, I feel great. No gestational diabetes! No acid reflux, No swollen legs! All of the things that made me miserable with my first pregnancy (140 pounds heavier). I have about 10 more weeks to go and I feel like I am running out of room for the baby to grow, but I know that the body will stretch beyond our belief.

I have gained 18 pounds so far and that is right on track for what my doctor wants me to gain. I am feeling like I have control over the situation and that is a great feeling.

The point is....pregnancy after WLS can be done and without gaining a lot of weight.

Mary

Thumbs up Mary

Thanks for the confirmation there with the pregnancy after WLS. It also seems as if it is so much easier on you than it would have been pre-WLS. Congrats again!! Do you have a name picked out yet for the lil tiger??

We want another one also, however we will have to wait because my doctor put me in for my tummy tuck and I only have my insurance until April.

We need to get together and have a baby shower for Mary. Any thoughts or ideas. We can have it at my place I live in Paradise Hills or if anyone else had an idea let me know.
