Holy Crap! I surprised even MYSELF!
Well folks, I haven't been on these boards in a while but this recent photo (and my body's refusal to budge down another pound lately) has prompted my return.... And I need to show off a little!

Way to go, you look great. Our surgery was around the same time and you have done very well. Your body is adjusting to the new you, it doesn't mean that the weight loss is over. Hang in there..and glad to see you back!

Man do I know that- I have about 25-30lbs till goal and the rest (according to my doctor) is just skin - lots and LOTS of skin! I had to get a girdle to hold it all in to get into that dress but boy was I happy with the results!
I'm glad to be back!!!!

What a smile!
You look incredible. I know people don't recognize you who haven't seen you. I went up and hugged a woman I hadn't seen in over a year and asked her how her son was ect....Then she finally said, remind me who you are? I totally forgot she hadn't seen the new me. I must have scared the crap out of her hugging her like that. We were quite close because our kids were in the band and both had health issues, we watched out for each other's kids.
Anyway, I digress....you look marvelous. I love your smile. Hold that head up girl.

WoW - Congratulations! Awesome job, very inspiring to those of us just starting our weight loss. You have given your self and your family a very precious gift, a healthier you. Your beauty shines from the inside out. Those last pounds to goal (minus the skin weight) will happen. Once again, great job!
