I appreciate the warm welcome. Anytime I can help or answer a question... I am just an e away! Right now I am in a mode where I need support. I never had that because of having my surgery done out of state. It is soo hard with out support, so you are all very lucky!

stuck in a rut.... HELP!
Hi all...
after 2 years of being at a fairly level weight, (4.5 years out) I started to gain a few extra pounds. (5 at first then 5 more) My lifestyle had not changed that much, however, I have never been good at exercising. I think I may have hit that time in life when a womans body starts to change. Those few pounds turned into 10 more. (thats 20 if your keeping score!) I worked hard and lost 10 of them. I still have the additional 10 that I can't seem to conquer. I am frustrated, and mad at myself, and I can't seem to get motivated in the right way. I need help... I need a buddy! I say to myself I would like to walk, or swim, or go to the gym.... if only I could do it with someone....ANYONE! I guess I should be more self-motivated to do it by myself... but so far, I have done it ALL by myself! I am tired of doing it alone. Do I sound absurd? I hate to ramble, so if anyone has any tips, tricks, or kind words for the weary.. OR, if you are near and want to be a buddy???
PS... I will post this on the general board too....

You look truly wonderful. I am very happy for you. Honestly if you hook up with Karen your life will never be the same. She is one of the funniest, most caring, and truly loving people in the world I have ever known. Our loss is definitely your gain!!! Oh and I will be going there pretty soon to invade her home so hopefully we can all get together and go walking!!!!
