Default Hi

I had my lap band last week, Dec. 17, 2007 at Tufts-New England Medical Center by Dr. Kim. Surgery was fine but I am 4 days out and having problems taking in my fluids and protein. I end up with gas bubbles a lot and don't want to continue eating. I have thrown up once and I didn't like it at all. I get scared to continue sipping or eating even though I haven't eaten much and then give up. I sit there and burp constantly. I am passing gas and I have had a bowel movement so the gas is going out but its still unforcomfortable. does anyone have advice for me?

Thanks

Carla

CONGRATULATIONS on joining the loser's bench!
Try some Gas-X strips. THey work great. Also, make sure you are getting up and walking around. That is the number one way to get rid of that gas. However, it just takes patience. This is HELL WEEK!
Don't be afraid to drink. YOU NEED IT! Rule of thumb: walk, sip, rest; repeat!
Good luck.

Yes, Dr. Gazmari was great. He really shows his love and concern for everyone. I think that office goes above and beyond. When is she having it done?
