I am from Harford County Maryland, married 25 years, adopted 2 boys 8&10 have a new lab puppy and had my rny on 10/21/08 with Upper Chesapeake Bariatrics at Harford Memorial Hospital. I like scrap booking and having more energy and being able to buy new clothes.

Hi...I lived in Laurel, MD for 20yrs, have worked in Riverdale, MD for the last 18yrs, and moved to PA 2yrs ago (I commute). This still counts as a Marylander, right?

wow you commute from York to Riverdale.. Crazy.. Where in Riverdale do you work? .. I have lived here Well except for 5 years when I tried the marriage thing when I was in the Howard County side of Laurel.. Man Riverdale has surely changed.

Im working on moving tp PA. Or maybe just Maugnsville/Hagerstown/Chambersburg.. Somewhere on the stretch of 81. That commute would kill me.

Nope...the commute is not fun....but I only do it 2 maybe 3 times a week. I work at home often. But I LOVE where I live..my home...the healthcare...my community...all of it. The coomute is just what I have to deal with to live the way I want to live (and deserve) to live.

I'll do it until I simlpy can't do it anymore. Oh yeah..I work for USDA in Riverdale. You are right, Riverdale has changed, Laurel has changed too. Anyway, how are you feeling? Your surgery was a week or so ago, right? Congrats!

I'm still waiting for insurance approval.....I did every dang thing they asked....and here I sit...waiting. LOL!!!

Ah the USDA buildings in Riverdale. I know them well. The older ones and the newer ones off River Rd.

Yep 2 weeks post op today. Weighed in at the doc yesterday lost 34 pounds.. Goes to show me how much in excess I was eating... I feel great and I am feeling better every day.
