I had one and had no problems. Just make sure they are aware of the fact that you had GBP surgery and they should be able to order you a different kind of prep. I used Fleets Soda, a total of 1.5 oz in 8 oz of water. I had to take this the night before and the next morning. Absolutely no problem at all.

Default Colonoscopy(spelling)

My wife had somestuff that came in a little bottle as opposed to the gallon that I had at my last scope! You might ask about it! In fact it was an over-the-counter stuff she bought at walmart. Yes she was told to do so by the Dr!

I had one! The stuff you have to drink is oh so gross!! Make sure you make it as cold as possible. I didn't think it was working-drank nearly the whole gallon before it started-then, oh my-my!!! Stay close to the bathroom!!! The colonoscopy itself is a piece of cake-prep is much worse than the actual procedure. You are in la la land-and can barely tell what's going on. Then it's over and you go home!

Default yuck

I had one scope done last September..... someone told me to mix the prep stuff in half the recommended liquid(I used crystal light) and it worked just fine.... I think it was a little under a quart that I used.... and you drink a little every 15 minutes...... another tip: start earlier in the day(2:00 or 3:00), don't wait until 6:00 or 7:00 at night because then you will be up all night.......!!!
hope this helps.....
